first day

So i left my job in at the Elgin Courier News a week ago and picked up the wife and moved to NW indiana for a job at the Post-Tribune in Merrillville. This was the first time I made pictures in about 10 days and i missed it. My first assignment was at the Merrillville Village Hall with kids trick-or-treating. About halfway through the event, my 17-35 stopped focusing. Boo. At least my boss is bringing his 28-70 until mine arrives from nikon (it was broke before i arrived).

Here are a few pics from the event. I also kept my tradition of having White Castle for lunch my first day. I'm back to blogging....for now.
