Survivor

Sue Brown is a strong woman. She has successfully dealt with her 17-year-old son's suicide
last year and talked about the experience with the Post-Tribune. I spent some time with today and made some pictures to try to illustrate the emotion of losing a son.

“He just looks so angelic there,” says Suzanne Brown as she describes her favorite picture of her son Jacob Anderson who committed suicide October 20, 2006.

Suzanne Brown holds a scrapbook that was made for her by Jacob’s older stepsister Kathleen about a month after Jacobs death with pictures of Jacob and printouts of messages that people left Jacob after his death on his MySpace page.

Several pages of messages from mourning friends are found in the scrapbook that was given to Suzanne Brown after her son Jacob Anderson committed suicide on October 20, 2006.
