This is the general reaction of many midwestern newsrooms when the first real snowfall hits. So I heard about this hill, found some people sledding and made pictures.

Snow covered the area with 2-4 inches Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with another round of snow arriving Wednesday evening.
"We wanted to do this last night," said Ed Flores of Merrillville, "but by the time we got out of work it was too late" after wiping out while sledding with a group of friends at Hidden Lake Park Wednesday afternoon in Merrillville.
