few recent ones

Been very busy the last few weeks with a few different projects and moving into a new house.
Here are five from the past few weeks that I liked.

David King of Morgan Township rides his tractor to make it look like he is pulling the tractor that his father, Brad King, drives down Route 49 during the annual Labor Day Parade in Malden.

The driver of a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo looks back at the stopped traffic while a tow truck driver and a Griffith police officer tow her car off the tracks at the corner of Industrial Drive and Main Street Friday morning in Griffith.

Members of the Marine Corps League and Senior Airman Ken Cawthon put away the flags after a memorial service commemorating the terrorist attack on Sept 11, 2001, at the Doughboy Statue Thursday morning in Hobart.

Sue Rodriguez stands in front of her melted siding after an abandoned home next door burned down early Wednesday morning in Gary. The nearest fire station in Black Oak was closed because of recent budget cuts.

Lake County Fair Board VP Zern Hayden, left, lifts the safety screen out of its hinges while Lake County Fair Maintenance worker Dennis Rick, center, and Fair Board VP Tom Lump move them to a cart to be put away until next year Monday afternoon at the Grandstand at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point. The safety screens are put up every year to protect spectators from flying debris.
